To sign 'later', bring the pinkie, ring, and middle fingers down against the palm, leaving the index finger and thumb outstretched in the L shape. Bring the hand up so the tip of the thumb is in the air close to the cheek. Bring the hand out, turning the hand down slightly as you bring it away from you.
